Start with a base of meat or beans, then fill these fresh, tasty romaine wraps with all of your favorite fillings - we went with cheddar, red cabbage slaw, salsa and avocado - and taco night will never be the same!
Kids can make our favorite homemade salsa and slaw - the rest is up to you!

Lettuce Wrap Tacos

Not-Too-Spicy Salsa

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium sized ripe tomatoes, cut into large pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup scallions, sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp lime juice
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until incorporated, but still chunky.

Red Cabbage Slaw

  • 2 cups red cabbage, thinly shredded
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
