Hajira Khan is the mom of four (ages 22, 17, 13 and 5) and owner of the Kiddie Academy of Fort Wayne and Kiddie Academy of Southwest Fort Wayne franchise locations. She was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Ill. and has an elementary education degree from National-Louis University. She moved to Fort Wayne, Ind. in 2004, where she and her husband opened their first Kiddie Academy location in 2013 and the second location in 2019. She has earned several local and national awards including 2015 NE Indiana Female Executive of the Year, 2016 Kiddie Academy Brand Champion, 2018 Kiddie Academy Star Award, 2019 NE Indiana Forty Under 40, 2022 Kiddie Academy Franchisee of the Year and 2023 IFA Franchisee of the Year. Her Academies are both nationally accredited through NAEYC and have been rated No. 1 for childcare in the Fort Wayne Newspapers' Readers' Choice Awards for the past five years. Hajira enjoys traveling abroad and spending time with her family.
